  • You can find specific glass paint but acrylics also work fine – use whatever you have and can afford
  • Sharpies also work great for some of these designs

Depending on the design you choose, you’ll also require:

• A sponge
• Brushes
• Washi tape

Here’s how to create your own glass bottle art at home:

Step 1: Glass cleaning. Remove any labels, then wash the glass bottle with soap and water or rub it with alcohol. 

Step 2: Apply a base coat using a primer, acrylic paint, or paint designed especially for glass. It should take between 20 and 40 minutes to dry. Apply a second base coat or your background’s first coat for touch-ups.
